Due to security policy at my workplace, camera phones are banned.
I am looking for a good PDA phone, but should be without Camera. would appreciate some tips.
Thanks.
The phones i have looked at till date
1. Nokia E61 (no touchscreen)
2. Imate series (for now my choice, but reluctant as i heard about OS/ software issues)
3. Nokia 9300i, very good but a bit bulky
4. Sony ericsson M600 ?!?
5. i guess most O2/ HTC/ Glofish etc.. are all camera
6. Palm Treo, love it, but has a camera.

Palm TX, Dell Axim X51v, Nokia N800, or iPod Touch/iPhone
well i would like to know which is better for Internet browsing. and i know that iPod Touch is not a PDA but since it has WiFi it can work for me…..anyway which one of these is the most reilable…i’ll appreciate a comparison to support your reasoning.
thank you

The pda phones with the best reviews I’ve seen so far are 1)Nokia E61 / N70 2)Sony Ericsson K750i / S700i / W800i 3)PalmOne Treo 600.
What do you think of those? Is there one better than them? I’m looking for a nice mix of pda functionality and multimedia options.
Ideal features are PC sync, speakerphone, international, bluetooth, and wi-fi.
I don’t care about what service it uses as long as it’s unlockable. Price is no object.
THANKS!!!

Am considering buying it and would like to hear consumer reviews on this phone. Likes/dislikes. Thanks!

I know the 8525 has gotten good reviews but is soon to be replaced by the 8925 (any news on realease date)? Do both of these phones allow to edit the Ms Word/Excel documents or just view them?

I was looking for an eBook reader and I stumbled upon this site:
http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/000391.php
which shows a review for the Sony Clie T6152.
I looked on eBay and the Clie as well as a few other PDAs are relatively cheap because they’re a few years old.
Now, I don’t really care about the age, I just want something to read eBooks on rather than my cell phone. (Awkward small screen, backlight only stays on for 30 seconds, eats up batteries… etc.)
I just want something that works well.
Also, it would be nice if it wasn’t very thick, but that’s just a plus. I really don’t care much as long as it’s not gigantic and can preferably fit into my pocket.
Any ideas?
Oh, and looking through PDAs for the past half-hour, I’ve been thinking… wifi might be nice too…

The main contenders beign blackberry, palm, htc, O2, imate.
My main application is internet acess & data ( ebooks, music, etc) storage.

This might be a stupid question, but can you buy a new PDA anymore that is not incorporated into a cell phone? I’m looking for reviews on cnet.com but all I can find are pda/cell combos. ??
