I am looking to replace my Palm Treo 650 with an more up to date PDA phone but I’m unsure of which one to purchase. Currently I am looking at either the Touch by HTC, the Mogul by HTC and Palm’s Treo 755p. I would like to avoid blackberry if possible because I’m already currently paying $100 a month and from what I understand, I would be paying even more for the blackberry service.

When I go for my upgrade @ Verizon I’d like to get a phone that really fullfills my needs as SAHM: easy to use, slim, access to internet & email, texting, calendar, contacts… Don’t really care about camera, downloading, music-just want a phone that works well & can help me keep organized-what would be best for me since it’s so confusing? I’m thinking a smartphone would be ok-pda sounds more like to review documents(n/a for me)

I would really love a blackberry, but I don’t to have to pay an ongoing monthly amount to have it on a contract etc. Are there any PDA’s which aren’t mobile phones. In other words are there any I can just buy outright and not have to pay any additional costs for each month?

I am going to get a new sell phone from AT&T, and I want a full QWERTY keyboard…and I do not want a PDA/blackberry, or the iPhone. I had been looking at the pantech duo, but that phone received some lackluster reviews. Does anyone have any experience with this phone?
I do not want to pay over 200 dollars, so the Tilt is out of the question.
kk, thanks!
i just want to stress that I am NOT interested in a blackberry!

I am currently looking to buy an unlocked cell online to use with my Rogers network in Canada – however I also need one that will work in the States and across Western Europe.
If it is a GSM phone, does it work everywhere…whats the difference between quad/tri band?
Also if I buy an unlocked phone online from Asia will it work here and everything be in English. Bit naïve when it comes to buying online…sorry!?
Any good sites I should check out for good deals, I want a smartphone/pda – but not a blackberry I have one right now and need a change, but still need email etc – HTC?

All the windows mobile based PDA phones, have resistive touch screen technology. While IPhone / Blackberry storm and G1 have all capacitive touch screens, I fail to understand why can windows mobile based phones not use this technology for the phones?
I may need to ask this to HTC though ….

I am particularly looking at smart phones and PDA, like HTC, QTEC, Blackberry, etc.

First of all, I’m NOT changing service providers! I have Verizon and am up for contract renewal but I don’t know which phone to get. I’m suck between the Samsun u740, the LG Env, the new LG VX9400, and the New Razr Maxx Ve. Anyone have any suggestions, good/bad reviews, experience with any of those phones? (I already have a PDA so I dont need a blackberry or Q.)
Thanks!
