Am considering buying it and would like to hear consumer reviews on this phone. Likes/dislikes. Thanks!

I’m looking at buying a refurbished “BlackBerry 7290 Unlocked GSM” online. It says it is unlocked, no activation required. I already have a sprint PCS wireless service plan for cell phone, etc… Will I be able to activate my existing service on the blackberry if I buy it? Thanks!

This might be a stupid question, but can you buy a new PDA anymore that is not incorporated into a cell phone? I’m looking for reviews on cnet.com but all I can find are pda/cell combos. ??

Certain websites have versions that can be accessed EASILY from a cell phone/pda web browser. One such example is www.mapquest.com/pda - it is essentially mapquest but a version that requires much less data transfer to save costs (it is expensive to browse from a telephone.) Do you know any other such sites?

I paid for a cell phone with money gram a month ago, but they told me that they mist-package and that I had to pay some more, which I did. After that, they said that I had to pay for the tax and I did b/c I believed them and now they said I should pay a little more for the demoge fee to recive the package. But I do not trust them any more. If any one knows what I am taliking about pleas let me know. I also gave them until tomorrow mornig that if I do not recive the packae I will report that. And they said its your money do it
So agian if any one know what I am talking bout let me know, they only have blogs and they do not have web or something like that and this is what they have for the information

im looking to buy a cell phone or pda unlocked GSM. Im looking to hopefully have wifi, camera, qwerty keyboard and its gotta LOOK NICE! if its run windows mobile, id like it to have version 6 - or an easy update to it. any ideas

I primarily want to buy a phone that has unlimited texting, with a full keyboard feature. I don’t need any other features than the full keyboard. I’m just looking for the cheapest cell phone or device with a keyboard type feature, where I can send text messages. Sure it would be nice to have a web browser and an e-mail client included… but it isn’t necessary if it’s going to make the cost go up drastically.
I would prefer the phone to be “unlocked” so I can choose my own plan.
I currently have my eyes set on a RIM Blackberry 7290 Black GSM PDA Cell Phone, which I found on TigerDirect for $80.00 (no plan). The problem is that I am not sure if there is anything else that offers what I want for a cheaper price.
Once I figure out what phone best accommodates my needs I would obviously need a phone plan with a provider. I would prefer to get something with Verizon since it is “America’s Most Trusted Network” according to their commercials (plus I have stock in them). But, I’ll look to other plans if they offer a better deal.

I’m searching for a new cell phone. I currently have a “regular” cell phone and an OLD Sony Clie Palm OS PDA. I want to get a phone that is a phone and a PDA.
Originally I was looking into a Centro - because I can sync my existing Palm applications to it; that’s a given. But I’ve been finding bad reviews for the Centro and am no contemplating a Blackberry Pearl 8130 smartphone.
My question is… Can I sync my Palm OS (I’ve an updated version) to the Blackberry - calendar, phone book, memo pad, etc.?
Thanks.
