Due to security policy at my workplace, camera phones are banned.
I am looking for a good PDA phone, but should be without Camera. would appreciate some tips.

2. Imate series (for now my choice, but reluctant as i heard about OS/ software issues)
3. Nokia 9300i, very good but a bit bulky
4. Sony ericsson M600 ?!?

pda phone review

I was looking for an eBook reader and I stumbled upon this site:
http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/000391.php
which shows a review for the Sony Clie T6152.
I looked on eBay and the Clie as well as a few other PDAs are relatively cheap because they’re a few years old.

Now, I don’t really care about the age, I just want something to read eBooks on rather than my cell phone. (Awkward small screen, backlight only stays on for 30 seconds, eats up batteries… etc.)
I just want something that works well.

Also, it would be nice if it wasn’t very thick, but that’s just a plus. I really don’t care much as long as it’s not gigantic and can preferably fit into my pocket.

Any ideas?
Oh, and looking through PDAs for the past half-hour, I’ve been thinking… wifi might be nice too…

I’m lookng for a new PDA phone, after scrutinising through all available models in the market, i narrowed down to these 2 models. Base on features, both are pretty rich in it. Maybe someone could enlighten me on this, thanks.

pda phone review

Im really planning to buy a PDA Cellphone. My number 1 choice is sony ericsson p990i but is there other better PDA phones out there? Ive been hearing bad reviews for the latest firmware update for p990i. Here are the things i want to consider:

- office functionality
- wlan capability
- at least a few multimedia functions (mp3s and pics)
- has a foldable/sliding keypads for quick texting with just one hand. using a stylus would require you to really use you both hands for just texting

thank you very much

I’m 14 years old. I told my dad I want an iPod touch with built-in speakers for my birthday and he said ok. But then, my cousin showed him the HTC Dual Phone (which I suggested to him before). He asked me which one I prefer.

I’m okay with my phone right now even though it’s simple (Nokia 2630–VERY simple). I already have an iPod (the 1st gen Nano 4GB-but I think I’ll give it to my sister). If he buys me the iPod touch, then I’ll stick to my simple phone. But if I choose HTC Dual Phone, my Dad and I will SWITCH phones (his is RAZR V9–no more Nokia 2630–and i’ll still have my iPod) *i think HTC will end up to be mine because it’s too complicated for him*

However, I’m 14. Do you think PDA’s appropriate for me? or is it better if I choose the iPod Touch and wait for the Sony Erricson C905’s release next year instead?

i LOVE music, i LOVE taking pictures. Which one would be the best pick?

pda phone review

Ok. So I’m up for an upgrade, and my old phone is slowly dying :D My service provider is ATT (boo), which I really don’t like but being a college student, my mom is willing to pay for the basics as long as I do well, so its her account. Therefore I must stick with ATT for now.
I bought the new Sony Ericsson W580i, but i returned it today and redowngraded my plan. It seems too flimsy, and most of the reviews I’ve read on it are not that great.
Here’s what I want:
Music phone (i’ll be happy to by the chip)
Standard calling, text messages is really all I do.
I sometimes go online on my phone to check the weather, but nothing too serious since data plans are usually expensive, and my text plan usually covers my minimal use.
I’m hard on my phones. Its guaranteed to be dropped monthly, if not weekly. I tend to keep my phones in my back pocket, so not crackable.
Protective cover/skin can be good for the screen.
I’m a college student, so cheap. I’m willing to spend 100-150 w/ upgrade
I’ve had an ericsson for 3 years now, and I know nothing about other phones. I know motorolas and nokia’s used to suck, in my opinion. As for nowdays, no idea.
Whether bar, flip, slider or whatever, i’m not too picky on, as long as I can lock the screens.
I’m a features whore, i love extra stuff added in, but again, not a big deal.
I just know nothing about thesse new phones… I feel like I was living in the stone age with my old phone!
And all the reviews I can find are on cingular or amazon, and I’m not that good at navigating amazon yet… so mostly cingular (oops at&t) is my review source… And I don’t know how reliable they are.
