I have had the Voyager since it’s release and have loved it. My upgrade is coming soon and I have been searching for my next phone. I have seen the Versa, and wasn’t thrilled. It seems rather strange and bulky. The Voyager does everything the Versa does and is more compact.
It seems like all of Verizon’s good phones that I like are PDA phones which require a new more expensive “data plan”.
What will come out soon that has a full QWERTY keyboard, that is not a PDA phone that requires a new plan?
Is the HTC Pro PDA phone? I liked that one.

I need a phone on the Verizon network that does not inlcude a mandatory data subscription, such as the blackberries. I want a smartphone, and the three that really stand out are the i760, the Palm Centro, and the Moto Q. The Omnia and Saga require data plans.

When I go for my upgrade @ Verizon I’d like to get a phone that really fullfills my needs as SAHM: easy to use, slim, access to internet & email, texting, calendar, contacts… Don’t really care about camera, downloading, music-just want a phone that works well & can help me keep organized-what would be best for me since it’s so confusing? I’m thinking a smartphone would be ok-pda sounds more like to review documents(n/a for me)

Love my Samsung A790. But it’s the only one they ever made (great because it unlocked!) Hoping they’ll have a PDA of this sort some day (Verizon does already.)

I primarily want to buy a phone that has unlimited texting, with a full keyboard feature. I don’t need any other features than the full keyboard. I’m just looking for the cheapest cell phone or device with a keyboard type feature, where I can send text messages. Sure it would be nice to have a web browser and an e-mail client included… but it isn’t necessary if it’s going to make the cost go up drastically.
I would prefer the phone to be “unlocked” so I can choose my own plan.
I currently have my eyes set on a RIM Blackberry 7290 Black GSM PDA Cell Phone, which I found on TigerDirect for $80.00 (no plan). The problem is that I am not sure if there is anything else that offers what I want for a cheaper price.
Once I figure out what phone best accommodates my needs I would obviously need a phone plan with a provider. I would prefer to get something with Verizon since it is “America’s Most Trusted Network” according to their commercials (plus I have stock in them). But, I’ll look to other plans if they offer a better deal.

I lost my Palm TX on a trip. Now, I need to replace it…I use it everyday for work, soccer, coaching, etc.
I have a verizon phone…any user advice / reviews on another PDA or should I get a smart phone?
Thanks

I really want the HTC Touch and the associates at the store tell me that it automatically connects to the internet for updates and stuff and that it cant be turned off. Is that true or do they just want me to fork out another 30 bucks a month?

I need a new phone, and I really need one that I can use as a PDA. I need a good phone with a great calendar that will be easy to keep synced with my computer (Dell, currently, but hopefully a MacBook soon). I must stay with Verizon, so please only suggest phones which run on the Verizon network (legally - I don’t want to do any of those changes that supposedly can be done to the iPhone).
I want the phone to be easy to navigate, easy to sync with my computer, generally easy to type text messages, reasonably resilient and light/small. Please let me know what you think would be the best options for me! The person who can do the most thorough comparison of the various options will be the one I pick as the best answer. Thank you!

I need a PDA style phone. I heard I can have the Sprint HTC phone cant be flashed to work with Cricket. Does anyone have a suggestion of a REAL NICE phone that has push email? If there isnt one, what about without push? Would the new instinct work or the voyager?
